En Pere  

Capítol 2

Per fi va arribar el dia, en Pere es va aixecar d’hora, com de costum. Era un dia assolellat de primavera i en Pere se va disposar a fer una volta pel parc abans que comencés a arribar la família a casa. De tornada, es va aturar a la pastisseria de la cantonada, la millor del barri i gairebé de tota la ciutat, segons en Pere.

Va comprar uns deliciosos pastissets de crema amb caramel cremat, els preferits de l’Isma. Al cap d’una estona d’haver arribat a casa va començar a arribar tota la família esglaonadament, el timbre no deixava de sonar.

Van començar a preparar el menjar, el mateix de tots els anys per aquest dia, el preferit d’en Pere, botifarra amb allioli.

Ja hi eren quasi tots, però faltava algú i en Pere va començar a preocupar-se. De sobte, el timbre de la porta va sonar. En Pere va obrir i allà estava, amb una cara d’absoluta preocupació, l’Anna. Va preguntar si l’Isma era allà ja que ningú el trobava enlloc des de feia més de tres hores. Tothom es va quedar estupefacte .... on podia trobar-se l’Isma?

Chapter 2

The day had arrived at last. Pere got up early as usual. It was a sunny spring day and Pere went to have a walk in the park before the family began arriving. On the way back he stoped in the cake shop at the corner, the best in the neighbourhood, and almost the best in the city, Pere reckoned.

He bought some delicious little custard and caramel cakes, the ones Isma likes the most.  Shortly after arriving home, the family started to arrive bit by bit, and the doorbell wouldn’t stop ringing

They started to prepare the food, the same as always on that day, butifarra (sausages) and aioli.

Almost everyone was there, but someone was missing, Pere started to be worried. Suddenly the doorbell rang. Pere opened the door, and there she was, Anna, with a very worried expression. She asked if Isma was there, they had been looking for him for more than three hours and nobody could find him anywhere. Everyone was astonished that Isma was not there.

Options:

a)  Isma wanted to surprise Pere

b) Isma is playing with friends and has forgotten what day it is

c) Isma has really disappeared
